 June 2019 -- At the Kansas Bar Association annual meeting, held June 20 and 21, 2019 in Topeka, Kansas, women attorneys of the state won a majority of the state bar association's awards and won all offices for the organization.

The following KWAA members were recognized:
Phil Lewis Medal of Distinction: Gloria Farha Flentje, Wichita
 Pillars of the Community Award: Sarah (Sally) B. Shattuck, Ashland
 Christel Marquardt Trailblazer Award: Hon. Christel E. Marquardt, Topeka
 Outstanding Service Awards: Michelle Y. Ewert, Topeka; Marty M. Snyder, Topeka
 Pro Bono Award: Stephanie M. Smith, Prairie Village
 Pro Bono Certificate: The Expungement Project run by Christine Campbell
In addition, the following KWAA members were elected as officers to the KBA Board of Governors:
